Revised SPM – The Foundation and SPM Excellence Modules are Available
In its quest for Software Product Management (SPM) excellence, ISPMA® is continuously keeping its Body of Knowledge up-to-date. It is the premier comprehensive resource in the world for SPM, based on academic research and industries best practices.
In line with the updated content, the syllabi got modernized names. The term „level“ was removed from all syllabi. These syllabi are continuing being a basis for ISPMA-based training and certification from now on.
The updated syllabi launched on July 1, 2022, are:
- SPM – The Foundation 2.1
- SPM Excellence in Product Planning 2.0
- SPM Excellence in Product Strategy 2.1
Content of SPM – The Foundation 2.1 syllabus is equivalent to the SPM – The Foundation 2.0. Only logos and references have been updated. Certification for SPM – The Foundation 2.1, therefore, remained unchanged.
With version 2.* of its existing curriculum, ISPMA® is providing the most extensive update since its start in 2009. It includes support for product managers‘ increased customer focus and a significantly extended variety of product planning approaches and techniques for different product scenarios.
