Welcome to ISPMA North America!

At ISPMA North America, we’ve built something more than just a community—we’ve built a movement. With a powerful blend of seasoned software product management pros and up-and-coming talent from across the U.S. and Canada, our chapter doesn’t just talk shop—we act, we share, we learn, and we drive impact.

Our advisory board? It’s no trophy wall. It’s a brain trust of ISPMA Fellows, respected academics, and C-suite leaders who help us stay sharp and forward-leaning. And our practitioner core? These folks have rolled up their sleeves in the trenches. They know the reality of markets, launches, pivots—and wins.

Together, we’ve pulled off two landmark events—SPM Summit North America 2023 and 2024—each focused on what matters most today: navigating the AI landscape and taking global products to global markets. That’s not hype; it’s execution.
And now, we align with ISPMA 3.0—a bold, strategic pivot designed for deeper, sharper impact in a rapidly evolving, AI-first world.

This is not about maintaining momentum—it’s about shifting into a new gear:

  • Global Relevance means rethinking product management in a world of platforms, data ecosystems, and AI-native products. It’s a full rewrite of the playbook.
  • We’re bridging academia with execution—translating deep research into frameworks that drive business impact, not just citations.
  • Inclusive leadership isn’t a virtue signal—it’s a strategic necessity. We’re scaling a talent pipeline that reflects real-world diversity in thought, background, and experience. The best ideas come from everywhere—and we’re making sure they have a seat at the table.
  • Our academic and corporate partnerships are no longer optional—they’re the foundation of shared learning, shared risk, and co-created best practices. We’re building Centers of Excellence that don’t just sit on paper—they build capability.
  • Through federated regional growth, we’re enabling every chapter to shape strategy through their local lens—because innovation is global, but context is local.
  • We’re forming alliances with global partners who challenge our assumptions, raise our standards, and widen our reach.
  • And perhaps most importantly, we’re investing in student-led communities—because the future of this discipline depends on curious, driven learners who want more than a certificate—they want a mission.

Speaking of which—ISPMA certification remains the global gold standard. But now, it’s more than a credential—it’s a commitment to growth, discipline, and relevance in a world that won’t wait.

We’re not just continuing the tradition in 2025. We’re evolving it—with purpose and urgency.

Let’s go.
