First convened in 2009, the ISPMA e.V. is a non-profit organization with the goal to foster software product management excellence across industries.
The members of the ISPMA establish the SPM body of knowledge, curriculum, and glossary. They contribute their expertise, review drafts, and use the curriculum. All contributors are publicly acknowledged.
ISPMA certificate holders are entitled to become members of ISPMA (individual members).
Training providers interested in offering trainings based on ISPMA syllabi need to become ISPMA company members. They are advertised by the ISPMA and receive the right to use the ISPMA syllabi and brand. ISPMA partners with certification agencies who conduct the exams for certification.
